v3.6.0.beta2 → v2025.11.0
Highlights
New version numbering scheme
Perhaps you noticed we just jumped from version 3.6.0.beta2 to version 2025.11.0. We have updated our version numbers for releases to be based on the current year and month as part of a larger project to improve our release processes to provide more choice & predictability for community administrators.
AI translations improvements for search and authors
Localized content can now be served to search engines, making your forum more discoverable to more people, and within Discourse, the search feature now returns results that include localized blurbs. In addition to search improvements, we’ve also added support for uploads on translated posts, and it is now possible for post authors to localize their own post.
Search chat channels and messages
Our new chat search feature makes it possible to find past conversations in chat channels, group chats, and DMs. Search across all channels or within a specific channel or conversation.
New experimental review queue UI
We’re updating the layout of the review queue to make sure moderators can find vital information at a glance and take action on reviewables from a consistent location. While we are continuing to make improvements the new feature is available behind a site setting. To try it out, turn this feature on for your whole moderator team or for specific groups.
Add multiple images and quote them in replies
Our rich composer now automatically arranges images in a grid when they are uploaded and gives you controls for rearranging them. And when someone wants to talk about a particular image, they can now easily quote the image they want to discuss by opening it in the lightbox and clicking the quote button.
